Ramona Joseph, CNM

 

Ramona Joseph’s home town is located in the beautiful state of North Carolina. Staying true to her roots she graduated in her home state from UNC at Greensboro in Nursing. Later on she graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill attaining a Masters in Public Health.

 

Ramona is also a member of the Lumbee Indian Tribe. After attaining her degrees in higher education she dedicated much of her life giving back to various Indian reservations across the country. With her extensive skills, health knowledge and compassion, Ramona excelled as an officer in the US public Health Service in Oklahoma, New Mexico and California.

 

After fine-tuning her skills in the nursing realm, Ramona decided to go back to school to attain yet another degree in the field of study in which she was truly passionate about: caring for pregnant women and the laboring period. In 2002 she graduated from Frontier Nursing Service in Kentucky and became a certified nurse midwife.
