Brynea Daman, CNM

Brynea's passion to work with women started in high school, when she met an amazing Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.

After high school, she chose to escape the cold north moving to Oklahoma where she completed her nursing degree in 2006 at Oral Roberts University. Oklahoma was where she met her husband, James, got married and started working as postpartum/newborn nurse at a large teaching hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

As a new nurse, she met a wonderful group of Nurse-Midwives who inspired her in their unique way of caring for women in labor and birth. It wasn't long until she found a position in labor and delivery and started working toward becoming a Nurse Midwife. She has spent the last few years working toward her midwifery degree and working as a labor and delivery nurse in Washington, D.C.

Her passion is to provide women and their families with the highest level of care possible, helping them make the most educated decisions for their families and supporting them in their desired birth experience. She believes that pregnancy and birth are normal and that given access to a variety of birth options it can be an empowering experience for women.
